Well, if you decide to watch Matt Smiths incarnation, the timeline does go absolutely bonkers. Brilliant how they do what they do but still mental.

LOST :B [I <3 Juliet] The Walking Dead [although the comic is 10000x better, I respect the show as a separate entity]
Scrubs Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire is also so much better, but the show is incredible]
    24 Mad Men
    Buffy Modern Family

I am currently watching nothing because it is out of season for GoT and TWD. So if anyone has recommendations I would be all ears!

    WHERE IS IT??

I'm watching it on Netflix, starting in 2005 with the 9th doctor. I have watched the episodes in order, and David just disappeared!! One episode, there's David, next episode, there's Matt, with no explanation in between! I'm now halfway through season 5.

I've never had a schedule that allowed for much TV watching, so I've missed a lot. Between DVDs and Netflix, I've found and watched a lot of stuff over the last couple of years, and I'm still working on it. I just started watching Dr. Who and Sherlock in the last few weeks. Fringe is next on my list - that one is available through Amazon Instant Video. And I'm watching Castle on DVD. Favorites from the last 5 of years or so of catching up:

    Stargate (all of them)
    Firefly
    Bones
    Numb3rs
    Lost
    Saving Grace
    NCIS (both of them)
    Farscape
    Battlestar G.
    Eureka
    Criminal Minds
    Dead Like Me
    The Closer
    Star Trek NG
    Rizzoli and Isles

No particular order there. I love SF, but the ScyFy Channel is currently all but worthless.

ETA: Syfy is notorious for canceling good shows because the execs don't want to risk having to renegotiate wages. How many really good shows have been cancelled out of greed? It sucks. Also, on the subject of sucking, the name Syfy is horrid. But I guess they couldn't copyright Sci-Fi Channel, thus the stupid Y thing was born. I call it "Siffy" in my head, now.

Wow. Jumping in a little late, but lets see here...

Every Star Trek - but favs would be TNG, Enterprise, and Voyager
Battlestar Gallactica (newer one) and the short lived Caprica - I was really bummed that didn't last
    Eureka
    Haven
    The Walking Dead
    Babylon 5
    Hurcules and Zena
    Twilight Zone
    Quantum Leap
You know what........ there are way too many, and I can go on for far to long of a post!

    Thank you, Tink!!

Dang, I forgot to mention Haven. Love that one, too.

I've been disgusted with the SF Channel for a while. It doesn't pay to get attached to any of their shows, they'll dump it for sure. It's mostly the reality/wrestling channel these days. I don't like the name either - I think they paid a 12 year old to come up with that.

Neverwhere (Neil Gaiman) on the BBC is one of my all time favorite productions. The Hogfather is my #2 Gaiman.
The Big Bang Theory, Episodes, Raising Hope, Bones, Game of Thrones, The Wild, Wild, Wild, Wild West, The Prisoner, Glee, Doc Martin, The Twilight Zone, and SYTYCD are my favorites.

Scrubs, MadMen, Oz, The Wire, The Sopranos, Zoom (the original) and Eastenders are the next shows on my list.
