That's going to be awesome... and seems like a totally natural progression actually. Part of the foreshadowing from the missing chapter... when Jules does a job, she does it all the way!
Just confirming that my understanding from what Hugh has said is that, yes, Book 9 will pick up where 5 left off, but will bring the threads of the two sagas together.
While we all sit here squealing with excitement, he adds "u"s to words (color -> colour, honor -> honour), and changes all of the elevators to lifts (oh, wait....never mind. he did that bit already), and writes tales of zombies eating babies in backpacks. Sigh. He's toying with us, really. Whipping us up into a frenzy.
Anyone ready to jump ship? Nah, I thought not. :-)
