WOOL and Other Tagline Requests for Zazzle Store

While I have yet to finish uploading all the WOOL CafePress store designs, I'm working on them, and thought I'd go ahead and start a thread requesting taglines for that series as well as other book taglines too! (But not I, Zombie ones -- that has its own thread.)

It will take a while for me to get to some of the suggestions, but we can do almost anything, as long as it meets the copyright criteria (see the I, Zombie Request thread for details).

    Thanks in advance!

During a WOOL shirt design contest earlier this year, I came up with an idea related to First Shift. In it, I envisioned a uniform worn by the workers during the construction of all the silo's. This is a bit of fan-fiction, as no mention was made as to what the volunteers wore, but nonetheless here's my story:

Those rascally WOOL shrinks are at it again. Never a group to pass on an opportunity to spread misinformation and propaganda, they have now found the ultimate billboard. During the construction of the silos, these head doctors have craftily designed a uniform, which instill feelings of importance, patriotic pride, and individual contribution. All this accomplished through mass conformity to standard issue uniforms.

The shirt displayed here has been given to the team working at Silo #1, known to these busy bees as the Georgia Silo. The fifty radiation symbols, replacing stars on this US flag, represent the relative location of all 50 silos to one another. The unique marker in this group shows the location to the Georgia Silo.

In B&W (Back and Front / The back would be the one with the graphic):

Not sure why the image is showing up so grainy.

I had to create a photobucket account an upload the pic to make it not-so-fuzzy. Here's the back of the Black Print design:

Oh, Zygote, the one in red white and blue is just brilliant!
This just blew my mind. What a great shirt this would make.

And, of course, I'm sure Hugh will tell us any moment whether this is the exact layout of the silos.

    Thanks!

I think the silo layout is indeed like the fifty stars on the US flag. Here's a quote from First Shift:

"…that large blueprint showing all the silos spread out amid the hills, fifty circles spaced out like stars on an old flag…"

There is no real indication as to where the Georgia silo is located, relative to the other silos (as far as I can tell). I would imagine it would be somewhat centralized, seeing as how it needs to effectively distribute power to all the IT levels throughout the silos.

Here's a clearer pic of the back of the color version.

The I.T. Happens designs have been uploaded and should appear tomorrow. Zygote, sorry I've not completed yours yet. I've got a lot on my plate right now, but definitely plan to do it! Thanks for being patient.
