I’ll be at San Diego Comic Con this year! It’s my first con in ages, and a rare chance to get things signed if you’re there. Or just stop by and say hello.

Thursday at location AA23 from 02:30 PM – 07:00 PM
Friday at location AA10 from 04:30 PM – 06:30 PM

I know. It’s been going on for 12 years! You do realize that there’s nothing I can do about it, right? My pictures are freely available. I don’t work at Facebook and I’m not in law enforcement. So … what exactly is our plan here?
Any chance you’ll do something with/for fans outside of Comic Con? It is sold out!

That’s a good idea. Haven’t done a meet-up in a very long time. Do you have a venue suggestion? Good restaurant we should meet at for pancakes, tacos, or a beverage?
My first choice would be C Level Lounge – They have great space for groups, their own parking lot and the downtown San Diego skyline for a view. On the harbor but closer to the airport. Open 11am-9pm. (15-minute drive from convention center)
Staying closer to the convention Center would be Punch Bowl Social – never been there but it looks like they have a decent area for a large group. limited parking and most likely crowded for Comic Con. Open 11am-midnight/2AM. (30-minute walk/7 min drive from convention center)
A little further away from downtown towards the ocean is Stone Brewing World Bistro. Beautiful gardens and plenty of indoor or outdoor space for groups. Open 11am-9/10pm. (15-20 min drive from convention center)

Let’s do C Level Lounge, then! And let’s do it on the 18th, which is before the con really gets going. I will probably have last-minute things added to my schedule as the week goes on. And this is more for the non-con crowd anyway.
8pm? I would think anywhere from 5 to 50 people might show up. Let me know if that works with you and the lounge and then I’ll make an announcement.
