Coming to a town vaguely near you. Maybe.

After two days at home, doing laundry and signing/shipping books, I’m back at the airport! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be hitting a dozen or so book tour stops. I have a calendar tab up at the top so you can see where I’m heading. Stops include Austin, Houston, Kansas City, Chicago, Denver, LA, San Fran, Seattle, Charlottesville Virginia, Charleston SC, and Miami. Not sure if I’m missing anyone.

I’m nervous about low turnout, so if you don’t live in these cities but you have random Facebook creeper friends who live in the area, tell them to come see me. They don’t have to buy a book or anything. Most bookstores have great coffee and lots of magazines. Just come and hang out!

Low turnout? I’m planning on getting there 2 hours early (at least) to make sure I can even get in! I’ll be curious how your signings go in other cities – will you be posting the turn-out for each event?

I reply: “YOU ARE! BOSTON!”

I’m actually really close to where you’ll be in Chicago, but I have my pup’s training class that night :(

Maybe I’d be able to go if I get there at 7 and leave not long after.

My teen daughter and I are looking forward to your appearance at the Tattered Cover in Denver!

Are you there for all 3 days at the Virginia Book Festival, it shows you on a panel on Friday but I’d be coming down from central MD and Friday would be unlikely, Saturday or Sunday would be a plus though!

Looking forward to meeting you in Chicago. I will be the guy with a stack of books for you to sign :)

Charleston!! Yay!!

Uh – Hugh? Which Barnes and Noble?

I hate driving to Mt. Pleasant, but I guess for you I would. North Charleston – maybe not…I’d think on it.

Please say you’ll be in West Ashley.

So glad y’all asked, I would have been a really sad girl sitting in Books Inc in the City waiting waiting.

My wife and I are planning on being at your Chicago appearance. I need you to sign my copy of First Shift.

St. Louis would have been nice (80 minute drive). Chicago is probably impractical (3 1/2 hour drive). Those of us out here in fly-over country will just have to make do with our virtual Hugh. Regardless, enjoy!

DRAT. Would *love* for you to make it to Ann Arbor or even Grand Rapids, MI, but I let my friends in Chicago know.

I’d love to show my support by going to the Miami book signing but I’m a digital girl.

Thanks for replying. I wasn’t sure if I’d look like a fool or not without a book. I love love love the Series. I’m going through withdrawal waiting for Dust. When I read your comment expressing concern about low turnout I wanted to go just to show my support.

Wow! Great news!

I’ll check your calendar closer to the time for the where and when. I’ll definitely want to be there even if it means taking a day off.

Funny thing – I have “Shift” scheduled for a review on my site at the end of April. I think I’ll need to reshuffle it so that it’s first cab off the rank. It would be nice to have read it before the event.

Same question about the book inc in SF on 19 march. When I click the link it says the book inc shop in Berkeley from 7pm to 8pm. Is this correct? Will you be in Berkeley for a signing that night? If so I will definitely be there (might even bring my son – but he’s barely 5 – would still be a fun outing).

Yay! That is actually easier for me too. Can’t wait to get one of my Ben Adams prints signed.

Wish you were coming somewhere near Alabama or Georgia…maybe Atlanta?????? PLEASE!!!! ;)

Bummer that I didn’t see Phoenix, AZ on the list. We have a wonderful bookstore in the Phoenix Metro Area called Changing Hands in Tempe, AZ. I’m sure you would have plenty ‘o people attending. This is the time of year to visit … I would avoid the summer though. :)
