NEO on iOS

Lots of people have been asking, and it’s finally here. In Beta, anyway.

If you install Apple’s TestFlight software on your iPad (it’s the app they use for allowing you to beta test Apple apps), you can then use this link to join the NEO Pocket iOS testing group:

https://testflight.apple.com/join/TWBXgyAa

That should download NEO to your device, and then you can start testing!

If you want NEO Pocket to share files with your desktop version of NEO, set the library location on the desktop version to your iCloud folder. The two versions should then sync up. Just give it a minute.

Happy writing!

  1. This is awesome! Now, the inevitable question must be asked: What about an Android version? LOL

    1. The Android version has been out for a while and is constantly updated: https://github.com/hughhowey/neo/releases/tag/pocket-latest

Download the .apk file, turn off Auto Blocker in your Security and Privacy settings, and when it warns you, click the little arrow and say “Install anyway.”

If you set up syncthing on your Android and desktop computer, you can work on files from anywhere on any device and never lose your progress. (And it’s all free!)

  2. Love this! I had no idea you already had one out! I already have syncthing working for my Obsidian app, so this won’t be any extra hassle.

    Thanks!
