A few months ago, we wrapped on season four of Silo, which will be the last season. Even though most of the work was done filming the show, and season three was ready to air, there’s still a lot of post-production to do on season four. But it felt like the journey was over for most of the people working on the show. I have to keep reminding myself that the journey is only halfway over for those of you watching Silo.

Season three is now four episodes in, and it’s time to start chatting a bit about what’s going on. During the weekend of wrap parties in London, most of the cast and crew filled a theater to watch two episodes from season three. It was a chance for everyone to hang out, and also to see some of the finished product that they’d all been working on. The two episodes the producers decided to air that day were episodes 4 and 5 of season 3. To say that I’ve been waiting on episode 4 to air is an understatement. It’s been killing me for everyone to see one of the big surprises we have in store. And there are plenty more to come.

For me, episode 4 is one of the most brilliantly shot, acted, directed, written episodes of the entire show. The production value is always high with Silo, but so many shots come across like a feature film, not a TV show. The chemistry between Daniel and Helen is off the charts. Patrick Kennedy’s interactions with Lukas are hilarious. The intrigue of what’s happening in the past gets ratcheted up to 11. Juliette starts to feel and act like her old self. I mean, even the opening of the episode is intense af. There’s so much to love about every minute of episode 4. And episode 5 picks right up where it leaves off. I can’t believe we have to wait an entire week!

I almost wish Apple had dropped these first four episodes on day one, then turned to a weekly release. They really reward binging up to this point. We are all anxious to see Juliette return, and when she tells Shirley she feels like she’d murder to protect her, we’ve got our beloved Jules back.
