Apocalypse fans, there’s a group for you!

And no, it’s not a therapy group for people with paranoid schizophrenia, or anything like that. It’s a GoodReads group called Apocalypse Whenever!

I know some of you have had troubles with my forums, and you’re dying to discuss the WOOL series. Well, until I straighten things out, this is a great place to discuss the books (and other end-of-world tomes), meet each other, copy/paste your Amazon reviews, etc…

GoodReads in general is just a dynamite place for readers. If you don’t have an account, you should set one up. Add me as your friend so we can follow each other’s reviews and what-not.

Oh, the most exciting bit of news: WOOL was just selected as Apocalypse Whenever’s discussion book for March. And since you’ve already read it, you’ll be ready to dive in and start discussing (and think how cool you’ll be for already knowing so many secrets from the rest of the series). So what are you waiting for? Jump on over to GoodReads, set up an account, rate your favorite books, paste in some old reviews you’ve written, and browse around Apocalypse Whenever. I’ll see you over there!

  1. For some reason when there are no comments on one of the posts, I feel obligated to post just for the sake of posting. Also, I will consider joining that group, but only to talk about Wool.

    1. And when I see someone post something, I feel like replying, just for the sake of replying. :)

  2. I still cannot post in the Forum (as of 2/13), but I found that I can Comment here. The best end-of-the-World book I ever read was “Lucifer’s Hammer” by Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle. And then, there is my favorite “dystopian future” book: “This Perfect Day” by Ira Levin!

    1. I LOVE Lucifer’s Hammer. One of my all-time favorite books of any genre. Brilliant. The surfer scene lives with me always.
