Hanging Out With Monkeys

At least, that’s what I think I’m doing. Peg Fitzgerald and the APE team (Guy Kawasaki and Shawn Welch) are having me over for a Google Hangout. If you can’t make it, the interview should be available for your viewing suffering latter. I think this is the correct link.

Going on at 7PM EST. I have dog treats to ensure a Bella cameo.

Just shows that the responses and interaction rise with the overall intelligence and comfort level of the forum. I did find it surprising that some of the participants seriously befuddled over certain philosophical points, including the continuation of self-publishing as well as the implication of fan fiction harming the brand. At this point, any supplementary materials help, rather than harm, your brand. And your point of giving new authors “training wheels” is true and magnanimous. I want the WSJ writer to watch this and then still claim you are a “goofball”. This is the Hugh Howey we know and admire – focused, witty, attentive, thoughtful and sincere. I really believe this was a fantastic interview. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us.

This was pretty fantastic to watch, but I have to say: PAGES? PAGES!?

Scrivener, Hugh. Scrivener!

Hope you do more things like this, it was really fun to watch.
