My favorite Amazon reviews for Wool.

WOOL just hit 50 Amazon reviews! That’s a crazy milestone, something the first Molly book is still a few shy from reaching (and it’s been out for over two years!) To celebrate, I’m compiling a few of my favorite reviews for you to enjoy.
The first one is probably my favorite (it’s actually for WOOL 2). This, my friends, is how you make an author dance a jig:

“This story is so good and so well written I wish all the installments were out so I could just buy them all and stop sleeping. I love this author. I love the world he has created and the characters that live in it. I cannot wait to pounce on the next novella in the series.

In Wool 2 characters introduced in Wool are developed and we get to see more of the vast Silo humanity lives in. Fascinating, different and incredibly well done. I could not put it down.”

My second favorite is one of the first that went out, and I think it has helped compel many a reader to take a chance on WOOL. I’m especially fond of it:

This book is exactly why I hate short stories!! I loved it from the first page and couldn’t put it down!! I remember while reading it, thinking it was so good I should slow down because like a good glass of wine, it’s over too soon. In a very short story, you find your head full of ideas and visualizing everything. After I finished it, I thought about it again and again.
Well worth the cheap price, if you like post apocalyptic or dystopian stories, you NEED this book!
Buy it, settle in for a short but enjoyable ride and be prepared to wish it were a VERY FULL length novel.

I love the down and dirty short reviews that pack the praise in:

This is a well crafted piece of short fiction. The character is easy to identify with, the premise compelling and the writing smooth and easy to read. It’s only a short story, but it’s much better than a lot of what you pay ¢.99 for. Worth the price and the read.

And:

Bought it… read it… BRILLIANT!!

I’m certainly with the other reviewers that said they wish it were a full length novel. I was sucked in from the first paragraph and hated that is was over so quickly. I loved the twists and the ending surprised me. I felt invested in the characters and the setting/location was acutely visable in my mind. Great read! A definite 2 thumbs up!

I can’t tell you how much these mean to me. It’s validating. It makes writing every day more of a thrill and less of a chore. I don’t know that I could keep it up without all this feedback, so thanks to everyone who has enjoyed one of my stories enough to craft a review. I’ll do everything I can to earn your praise in the future.

One response to “My favorite Amazon reviews for Wool.”

  1. What an amazing read! I loved the characters. The emotional roller coaster that I rode for the two hours it took to devour this book was so intense. I can’t wait to read the rest of them…going to Amazon right now to purchase the omnibus.
Thanks for such an interesting read!!
