National Novel Writing Month begins in two hours! While many NaNo’ers will stay up until midnight and begin hammering out their novels, I’ll be going to bed and getting an early rise. The goal for tomorrow is 3,000 words, which is gonna be difficult. I work from 9 to 5, so I’m hoping a 6 a.m. start, an hour of writing during lunch, and two to three hours tomorrow night will get me a solid chapter or two.

Should I take it as a bad sign that I’m second-guessing which novel I’ve decided to write? I was torn between HURRICANE and AFTER EVER AFTER. I’ve been leaning toward the former, but I feel myself tilting as I head off to bed…
