The Current State of my Writing

This is an update for those of you wondering what I’m writing/editing on right now. In fact, I don’t know that I’ve been in a more exciting phase of my projects. Here’s the run-down:

I’m in the final stages of Half Way Home, my first non-Molly novel. It’s a bit darker than my previous two books and tips the scales at 200 pages. I think it’s gonna make for an exciting, fast-paced read. Hopefully it’ll bring in tons of new fans to the Molly universe. With the cover finalized and the pagination complete, I just need to work on a few more edits before it’s off to the printer. I hope to have review copies out in a few weeks, and books ready for purchase in a month or so.

The third book in the Bern Saga, “Molly Fyde and the Blood of Billions,” is complete and off to the editor. Of course, “complete” is a relative term; just this morning I thought of a minor scene I need to add. The book is an exciting romp with the satire focused on politics and race. It sets everything up nicely for the final book in the saga . . .

Which is what I’m writing on in-between my edits on these other two books. I already have about 45,000 words of raw material for the book, with another 60,000 or so to go. The title is going to be, “Molly Fyde and the Fight for Peace,” and it has an interesting structure that I think readers are going to dig. Especially those who would like a little more back-story on all the main characters. ;) I’m hoping for a January/February release of “Fight for Peace” and a July/August release for “Blood of Billions.”

Oh, and I have two short stories in progress that I’m really excited about. And that’s about it!
