Happy Halloween!

How scary is that?!

Today I’m off to the Boone Mall to sign some books with a few other authors. We’ll be giving away candy and terrifying children. Probably more of the latter than the former.

This really is a pretty frightful day for me. Tomorrow starts NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month. I’m going to participate this year, which means 50,000 words written over the next thirty days. Normally I wouldn’t sweat this feat, but I’m not quite done with the draft for book three, which has prevented me from outlining my NaNoWriMo book. NaNoWriMo. I love typing that as much as I love saying it. Go ahead, say it a few times. NaNoWriMo. It’s fun!

Added to the November pressure are a plethora of signing events. On the 4th I’ll be at Appalachian State University’s bookstore from 12:00 – 3:00. Then it’s off to Charleston for an event before the Molly Fyde tour goes on its first jaunt West of the Mississippi. Added to this pile will be some corrected pages from book two, which I’m hoping to have out early next year. It’s going to be a lot of fun to try and pull all this off. I have a feeling December is going to be a month full of re-writes and revisions.

Oh, and don’t be surprised if this post sits here until December second. And be even less surprised if I have a brief synopsis of my NaNoWriMo book in this space by the end of the day tomorrow.
